This is usually not covered under warranty as some pressure or impact is needed to break the glass. You could try contacting Apple directly 1-800-SOS-APPL and see what they say.</description>

		<description>is this covered under my warranty? and has this been a regular problem with the new MACS with the Unibody glass? i just travelled with mine, which was flat in a protective case in my hand luggage with new actual impact along route which would have caused this, and i just opened it to find the screen cracked. 

what will APPLE tell me? i just bought it. i dont even know how it happened.
