What’s in a Name?

On April 28th, 2009, MacService officially became MyService. This change got us reminiscing about our previous name changes.
We started out as MacService Solutions. The only domain name available to us was macservicesolutions.com which made for some very long email addresses.
After about a year and a half of business, we decided we needed a shorter name if we were going to continue to grow our online business. The owner of macservice.com put his domain up for sale and we became MacService.
Fast forward to this year and once again we were looking for a new name. We wanted to stay true to the MacService brand and our focus of customer service. We love our M logo and wanted “service” in the name. MyService fit the bill perfectly.
So today we still have our original M logo, a great new name and shorter email addresses.
